Police are investigating an animal mutilation after a couple found a dead cat in south Edmonton.Cops were called to the University area about 8 a.m. yesterday morning. A couple out for a walk told police they found a dead, mutilated cat in a field north of 112 Street and University Avenue.Police were able to locate the cat's owner. The city's animal bylaw department was notified and door-to-door interviews were done.There are no suspects at this time, said police, and the investigation continues
